Common questions
Shields are not turning on at wind-down time
- Open iOS Settings, then Screen Time, and confirm WindDown still has permission. If you recently revoked it, the app will ask you to re-enable it when you open it.
- Open WindDown and check that tonight's schedule is enabled on the Home screen.
- Restart your iPhone. The Screen Time system occasionally needs it after an iOS update.
An app I need every night keeps getting shielded
Open WindDown, go to Allowed Apps, and add it to your allowlist. Changes apply from the next wind-down window.
I traveled and my schedule fired at the wrong time
Schedules follow your device's local time. After a time zone change, open the app once so it can refresh tonight's window. If it still looks wrong, email us with your route and we will investigate.
I want my data or my account removed
Follow the steps on the Delete Account page. In short: Settings, Account, Delete account inside the app, or email us and we will handle it within 30 days.
