Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

WindDown is an iPhone app operated by an independent developer ("WindDown," "we," "us"). You can reach us at info@prrenovatio.com. This policy explains what information the app and this website handle, and how.

2. Screen Time data stays on your device

WindDown uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity) to shield apps during your wind-down window. Under Apple's rules and by our own design:

• The list of apps you allow or shield is stored only on your device, in a format Apple makes opaque even to us. We cannot read which apps you chose, and we never upload this information.
• We do not collect app usage, browsing history, screen time reports, or device activity of any kind.
• Screen Time data is used only to provide the shielding feature itself, never for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose.

3. Using WindDown without an account

WindDown is fully functional without an account. In that case everything (your schedule, your allowlist, your streaks) lives only on your device, and we receive no personal information from the app at all.

4. If you create an optional account

You can create an account with Sign in with Apple to back up your progress. If you do, we store:

• Account information: the email address associated with your sign-in. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your real email and share a private relay address instead.
• Schedule settings: your bedtime, wake time, and wind-down length, so a new phone can restore them.
• Streak history: which nights you completed and, if you ended a night early, when.
• Gate outcomes: when you used the early-exit flow and which answer you chose (for example "boredom"), so the app can show you your own patterns. These are fixed categories, never free text.
• Time zone: so your nightly schedule is interpreted correctly.

That is the complete list. We do not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, health data, or advertising identifiers.

5. How we use information

We use the data above only to operate the backup and sync feature, show you your own streaks and patterns, and respond when you contact support. We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to track you across apps or websites. Because there is no tracking, the app does not show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

6. Where data is stored and how it is protected

Account data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on infrastructure hosted in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted per user: the database enforces row-level security so each account can only ever read or write its own rows. On your device, session credentials are kept in the iOS Keychain.

7. Third parties

We use two service providers: Apple (sign-in, notifications, and the App Store) and Supabase (database and authentication). Each processes data only to provide their service to us. This website itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.

8. Data retention and deletion

Account data is kept until you delete your account. You can delete it at any time in the app under Settings, Account, Delete account. Deletion removes your account and all associated data from our systems. You can also email info@prrenovatio.com and we will delete your data within 30 days. 9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Since we collect so little, the practical answer is simple: email us and we will show you everything we have, correct it, export it, or erase it. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA. You will not be discriminated against for exercising any right.

10. Children

WindDown is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app before they take effect.
